1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using CryptostoicMedia ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
CryptostoicMedia is a crypto safety education platform. We provide educational content, scam awareness training, and simulated practice environments. We do not provide financial advice, trading signals, or custody services for your personal funds. We never hold, manage, or access your cryptocurrency or private keys. The only crypto we receive is the subscription payment you optionally route through MoonPay (see Section 5a) — that flow goes directly to a CryptostoicMedia-controlled address and never returns to you.
3. No Financial Advice
Nothing on this platform constitutes financial, investment, legal, or tax advice. All content is strictly educational. You are solely responsible for your own financial decisions. Past scam examples are for educational illustration and may not reflect current threats. CryptostoicMedia and its affiliates disclaim all liability for financial losses.
4. Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. You may not share your login credentials with others.
5. Subscriptions and Billing
Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually. All prices are in USD. The default billing rail is Stripe (card or Apple Pay), which auto-renews until you cancel. You may cancel at any time through your account billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period and you will retain access until then. No partial refunds are issued for unused time. Refund requests for other circumstances are handled on a case-by-case basis within 30 days of charge. Crypto subscriptions are governed by Section 5a.
5a. Crypto Subscriptions (Optional)
You may optionally pay your subscription with cryptocurrency (currently USDC on the Polygon network) via MoonPay. Crypto subscriptions do NOT auto-renew — each cycle is a separate manual purchase you must initiate. We will email you approximately five (5) days before your access expires to remind you to renew. If you do not renew before the expiration date, your access lapses; you can resume at any time by purchasing a new cycle. Crypto subscriptions are non-refundable in crypto: due to the irreversible nature of on-chain transactions, any refund or credit will be issued via Stripe credit or fiat ACH at CryptostoicMedia's discretion, only in cases where required by applicable consumer-protection law. You are responsible for paying the exact amount displayed in MoonPay's checkout; underpayment will not grant access and overpayments are not automatically refunded. You are responsible for completing MoonPay's KYC verification process; we have no power to override a MoonPay KYC rejection.
6. Free Safety Kit
The free Safety Kit is delivered via email over approximately 14 days. By requesting the Safety Kit, you consent to receiving the associated email sequence. You may unsubscribe at any time.
7. Content Ownership
All content on CryptostoicMedia, including text, graphics, logos, curriculum materials, sandbox simulations, and software, is owned by CryptostoicMedia and protected by copyright law. Your subscription grants you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to access the content. You may not reproduce, distribute, resell, or create derivative works without prior written permission.
8. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to: share your account credentials or allow others to use your account, attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or copy the platform or its content, use the Service for any illegal purpose, harass other users or staff, or circumvent any access restrictions.
9. Limitation of Liability
CryptostoicMedia is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We are not liable for any losses resulting from your use of cryptocurrency, even if you have completed our educational content. Our maximum aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the preceding 12 months.
10. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to access paid content ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance. We will notify registered users of material changes via email at least 14 days before they take effect.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
